  • WinSxS – New plugin that checks Windows WinSxS folder for folder size, last cleanup and recommendation on next cleanup
  • CrashPlan – Plugin displays more information including backup set sizes, backup locations, completion of backups, and reporting on multiple CrashPlan installations.
  • Office Suite – New plugin that checks for installed versions of Microsoft Office. Reports on installed parts of Office and version numbers. ProductId, license status, and part of serial available for Office versions 15+
  • Control Panel – Added GUI setting to change delay on Windows update alerts
  • Battery – Battery Plugin will now look for battery information in two more locations. Added reporting on battery wear level.

  • OS Plugin
    • Changed display of Windows Installed Date and Last Boot to be easier to read
    • Added showing computer archetype (32bit vs 64bit)
  • Volumes Plugin
    • Changed display of metadata to separate out drives.
    • Changed error summary on too full drives to include more information including max amount, current amount, and percentage
  • Control Panel
    • Plugins that run once a day (Windows Update, WinSxS, etc.) are now included when forcing a report run under the advanced tab
    • Force report run now waits for completion rather than checking for completion every few seconds
    • Cleanup display on support link to remove “www.”, “http://” and “mailto:”
    • Added more descriptive strings for last version update check, last status update check, and last report date
  • Changed registry location of Control Panel from user to local machine. Will now update for all users
  • Windows backup – Made sizes strings easier to read

  • Users – Revamped how plugin checks for Users. Will now work more efficiently, only getting the information that is needed

Bug Fixes

  • Fix CrashPlan reporting even when not installed
  • Added generic check for null values being reported.
  • Fixed initial install not reporting twice as expected
  • Control Panel – Fixed timestamps not updating
  • Fixed trimming of extremely large plugin log file to correctly keep newest portion of log
  • Created a centralized list of common exit error codes which provides consistent error catching on new and existing plugins
  • Fixed Windows Update plugin always showing as enabled. Will now display more accurate state.
  • Fixed issue on Contact Menu that would cause an invisible icon to exist when icon.ico does not exist, preventing a visible one from being created.

  • Windows Backup
    • Fixed running plugin on 64-bit (was crashing)
    • Fixed issue where minimal backups (no drives, no images, etc) would cause the plugin to crash
    • Changed size of free space and max space reporting to handle much larger sizes (Int32 -> Int64)
  • Fixed issue where plugins could run indefinitely. Will now terminate a plugin at 5 minutes
  • VM – Will now properly report on VirtualBox machines
  • Fixed empty RAM plugin when there is no physical RAM found (Virtual machines)
  • Mozy now uses last successful backup time instead of just last backup attempt
  • Fixed reporting on TeamViewer version number
  • Fixed issue where user could bypass error panel on Control Panel by switching tabs
  • Uninstall
    • Fixed uninstall not asking for admin rights
    • Fixed uninstall.exe now stopping service before attempting to uninstall
